The student committee of the LAGB was elected by student members during May 2008, and formalised at the AGM during the LAGB meeting in Essex, September 2008.  The members of the student committee are:

We aim to represent the student members of the LAGB, so please do send us a message if you have any comments or issues you would like to raise! Our email address is lagbstudentcommittee@gmail.com.

One of the main aims of the student committee is to assess applications for funding for postgraduate conferences.

We will also soon have a dedicated student mailing list, which will distribute information that may be helpful for students interested in linguistics, and also provide a useful platform for student members to contact each other with ease.
