Registration for the LAGB Annual Meeting 2015 can be completed by selecting one of the registration options at the foot of this page once registration opens.

When prompted, LAGB members (including bursary recipients) should log-in or provide the email address they have given to the LAGB to allow access to discounted rates (or the bursary acceptance form). Bursary recipients will also need the access code that was sent to them when they were notified of their award.

Conference dinner

conference dinner will be held on Thursday 17 September. Further details on the venue and menu will be made available on the programme page.

Delegates are asked to make their own arrangements for accommodation. Accommodation in the Bloomsbury area of London can be expensive. One night usually costs between £80 and £130, depending on the hotel. Note that the The conference will be held in buildings in and around the Wilkins Portico of the UCL Main Building on Gower Street (WC1E 6BT). A list of hotels and near to UCL are available here:

The cheapest (although not necessarily the nicest) large hotels within the Bloomsbury area are run by a single company. En suite rooms cost from £81 per night depending on the hotel. The Tavistock Hotel is the closest to UCL, but all of them are within around 10 minutes walking distance from the venue:

For cheaper accommodation (£45-65 per night), there are a number of Halls of Residence owned by the London School of Economics and Political Science nearby. Expect to pay £65 for an en suite single room and £45 for a room with a shared bathroom. All of the Halls listed with a WC1 or WC2 postcode are in Central London and within reasonable walking distance of UCL (the furthest is 20 minutes walk according to Google Maps):

For those on a tighter budget, there are lots of hostels close to UCL too:

Automatic membership for non-members

Registration for the full package by non-members includes automatic LAGB membership until January 2017 for waged delegates (15 months membership) and membership until January 2018 for unwaged delegates (27 months membership). Memberships will be activated by the end of September 2015. Members will receive an e-mail notification to confirm that their membership has been activated. This offer is not available to non-members registering for a period shorter than the whole conference.

The benefits of LAGB membership can be found on the LAGB website:
