    Dear LAGB members,

Hope you are well. This is a quick reminder about our upcoming BAAL/Cambridge University Press Seminar on “(Re-)Exploring Ethics in Applied Linguistics Research”.

The general registration deadline has been extended till the end of the week (13 Jun 2025) to give everyone more time to register. You will have the chance to hear from colleagues about Ethics and the Research Ethics Committee; Ethics and research with vulnerable groups; Ethics and Online Research; Ethics and the Global South Contexts. In addition, you will have the opportunity to see some posters on other topics related to ethics and discuss with fellow delegates in a group discussion session. We still have some on-site spaces available, where catering is provided, so do try to register if you are interested!

We look forward to seeing you and discussing various ethics related matters in Applied Linguistics research then. Thanks again!

    Best wishes,

    Alex and Ngoc (Nancy)
