The workshop welcomes papers on any aspect of the use of English in the region, whether that be in educational contexts or in society more broadly; we are hoping for a range of perspectives. It will take place at the University of Westminster in central London on 11 July 2019. All costs for those who have papers accepted will be paid for.  We anticipate that some of the papers will be brought together afterwards to form a special issue of a relevant journal.

Papers should be 20 minutes in length, and proposals (not exceeding 250 words) should be submitted to the project director, Prof. Andrew Linn (a.linn@westminster.ac.uk) by 29 March. The project website (English in Central Asia) will be available soon.
